Resumen:
This work presents the analysis of the effects of a geomagnetic storm occurred on May 28, 2017 on the Equatorial Spread-F (ESF) at Tucumán (26.9 ° S, 294.6 ° E, lat Geomagnetic 15.5 ° S). The results show that: a) RSF is observed on May 28 during 01:40 - 07:40UT, and FSF on May 29 between 06 and 07:10UT. b) h´F increases during the main phase by 65km. c) foF2 increases by 3MHz during the recovery phase. For this ionospheric storm, the geomagnetic disturbances have helped in some way in the generation process of the RSF, and therefore of the EPBs. Also, foF2 data are compared with the corresponding output given by the International Reference Ionosphere (IRI) model which includes the storm-time correction, STORM. IRI overestimates foF2 during the initial phase and part of the main phase, and it does not predict the increase of foF2 during the recovery phase.
