Resumen:
The immense scope of variation in dendritic molecules (hyper-branching, rigidity/flexibility, nano-sized, hydrophobicity/hydrophilicity, balance, etc.) and their versatile functionalization, with the possibility of multivalent binding, high density of tuneable functional groups and large surface-to-volume ratio1 permits the design of highly improved, novel materials. Dendritic-based materials are therefore viable alternatives to conventional polymers. Therefore, they are interesting building blocks for the preparation of a large variety of different types of polymers2.In this work, we aim to obtain a new dendritic macromonomer by modification of the hyperbranched 2,2-Bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid polyester-32-hydroxyl (dHPE), to be used later as building block for the construction of materials with specific application properties.
