A truly biobased benzoxazine derived from sesamol, furfurylamine, and benzaldehyde hasbeen successfully synthesized and characterized using all three constituents from natural sources. The polymer proved to be competitive. A thermoset with particularly high thermal stability and a low heat release capacity of 201 J/g.k is considered a self-extinguish polymer.
