Resumen:
Abstract.Eight different fungal strains isolated from Celtis tala and Scutia buxifolia forest soils in the Eastern of Buenos Aires province (Argentina) were cultivated in solid-state fermentations (SSF) and subjected to an enzymatic screening. All of them were able to growth at high pH values with glucose as carbon source. V. tenerum could growth with highly esterified pectin as only carbon source and produced the richest enzymatic pool.
