Resumen:
We have successfully demonstrated the use of 1-vinylimidazole as a tool to achieve both, size controland chemical functionality of ZIF-8 crystallites. Theanchoring of vinylic-modified ZIF-8 crystallites ontoAPTES-grafted SiO2-coated QCM substrates andfurther crosslinking with BIS was demonstrated.Crosslinked assemblies shows higher stabilitycompared with the non-crosslinked ones. Theinclusion of higher amounts of BIS or even 1-vinylimidazole monomer may be useful to improvethe final performance of the assembly.
