Dear LAJSBA readers, this editorial note hasthe intention to update you with the news fromour journal. In this sense, we want to tell youthat our editorial team has been renewed withthe incorporation of two Associate Editors, José I.Cuitiño (CONICET, Argentina) and Giorgio Basilici(UNICAMP, Brazil). We want to express deeplythanks to Renata Netto and Fernando Gómez forthe excellent work done during the last four years.We also express our gratitude to the Board of theAsociación Argentina de Sedimentología for trustingus for this important and committed task. Thejournal, since its foundation in 2005 (coming fromthe AAS Revista since 1994), has been progressivelyimproving its quality and its visibility within thescientific community. LAJSBA is an entirely onlinefree-access journal with a high level scientificquality and design which is recognized by the LatinAmerican Earth Sciences community. In termsof bibliographic indexes, LAJSBA is included inthe ranks of SCOPUS, Scimago, Latindex, DOAJ,GeoRef,and SciELO.Some important news can be highlighted fromthe last two years. Firstly, we want to communicate agreat improvement for our journal: the launch of thenew LAJSBA website! This website (https://lajsba.sedimentologia.org.ar/index.php/lajsba) representsa great advance for the journal and concentrate notonly the submission and review systems, but alsothe repository of the complete collection of LAJSBA.This achievement was possible thanks to thesupport of the members of the Asociación Argentinade Sedimentología and we are proud to share it withthe entire Latin American geoscientist communityand from every corner of the world where LAJSBAhas a reader.
