Resumen:
The MnCu mixed catalyst with a Mn:Cu=9:1 molar ratio prepared by coprecipitation method was deposited by washcoating on a FeCrAlloy monolith (FM-W). On the other hand, an anodized aluminum monolith was impregnated with an aqueous solution of manganese and copper acetates in Mn:Cu=9:1 molar ratio (AM-2IS). The AM-2IS monolithic catalyst showed a slightly higher catalytic activity in most of the tested molecules, than FM-W catalyst. The effects of the deposition methods used and the nature of the structured supports on the catalytic activity were observed.
