Resumen:
STRATIGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF THE DOMUYO VOLCANIC COMPLEX (EXTRUSIVE PHASE), SOUTHWESTERN AREA AT CERRO DOMUYO, PROVINCE OF NEUQUEN, ARGENTINA. During the Neogene the intense volcanic activity that developed in the north of the Province of Neuquén, gave origin and evolution to the Domuyo Volcanic Complex, this complex was described and divided into two phases: 1) intrusive and 2) extrusive (Llambías et al., 1978). This work proposes a detailed stratigraphic analysis and correlation of the different facies and units that make up the extrusive phase of the Domuyo Volcanic Complex and thus elucidate the lithological characteristics of the outcrops observed in the field, its extension and layout. The possible volcanic events that gave origin to the mentioned complex.
