Resumen:
The dissolution reaction of Nb, Ta, Fe and Mn in aqueous solutions of HF, HF-H2C2O4, HF-Na2C2O4 and H2C2O4-NaF mixtures, using columbo-tantalites of the San Luis Province, has been studied using a Parr autoclave. The temperature range investigated in this work is between 340 and 396 K. At the moment, the experimental data show that the presence of H+ and F- ions in the leaching solution is necessary to produce an appreciable dissolution of columbo-tantalite. Also, the presence of C2O42- ions favors the mineral dissolution. On the other hand, both the rise of the H+, F- and C2O42- ions concentrations and the increase temperature lead to higher Nb and Ta extractions. Moreover, the presence of the Na+ of ion in the leaching media induce the formation of Nb and/or Ta insoluble complexes that settle on the residue.
