Mitral annulardisjunction (MAD) has been associated with myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD)but functional analyses of the mitral annulus (MA) and the entire leftatrio-ventricular junction (LAVJ) are lacking from high-resolution imaging tounderstand MAD physiopathology.
