Resumen:
As trainers of future biomedical engineers, we must provide them with teaching methodologies and technological and experimental tools during their training that motivate them and bring them closer to the professional world, acquiring the necessary skills to face the labor market, increase their employability and encourage their pro-activity. In this paper, we describe our educational experience in the subject "Introduction to Research and Development Practice I", applying the Project-BasedLearning methodology. During the course we have proposed a transfer, in charge of the students who experienced this subject the year before this year because the projects, which served as motivating axes to bring students closer to the profession and to "knowing how to do" and promote its vocation related to biomedical engineering, product of the Covid-19 Pandemic, have not been perfected or have been left unfinished. The students, involved in their learning and organized in groups, analyzed the transfer received and finished the projects by developing a device using 3D printing and two devices using Raspberry Pi. The implementation of this active teaching methodology, added to the use of ICT, increased the motivation and self-confidence of ourstudents, allowing them to acquire digital skills, project management, oral and written communication, identification and resolution of problems, understanding reading, autonomy and self-regulation of learning and teamwork.
