Resumen:
Some toxic and enzymatic activities were determined with the crude venoms of Bothrops altematus (AL); B. ammodytoides (AM); B. jararaca (JA); B. jararacussu (JC); B. moojeni (M) and B. neuwiedii (N). The toxic activities measured were: LD 50 (i.v., in CF-1 micc ): Minimal Hemorragíc Dose (MHD in CF-1 mice); Minimal Necrotizing Dose (MND, in CF-1 mice) and Minimal procoagulant dose in human plasma (MPD-P). The enzymatic activities measured were: Proteolytic (P, on gelatin), Phospholipase (PLA on egg yo1k), Indirect Hemolysis (1 H, on human erythrocytes plus egg-yolk) and Radial Hemolysis (R.H. on human erythrocytes plus egg yolk in 1 % Agarose).
