Characterization of polymersomes from tri-block copolymer as potential delivery system

Polymersomes are polymeric vesicles obtained by nanostructuration of amphiphilic block copolymers which demonstrated versatile properties in biomedicalapplications, such as drug delivery systems. Previously we presented the preparation of triblock copolymers (PVBz-b-PEG-b-PVBz) by raft polymerization starting to PEG xanthate derived2, as well as the nanostructuration of these copolymers in aqueous medium. In this work we present the characterization of one of these polymersomes loaded with Oil Red dye as a model drug or Vitamin D.
