Resumen:
Apple snail is the common name for freshwater snails that belong to Family Ampullariidae and represent a diverse group that includes the largest freshwater gastropods and also serious agricultural pests. This family of freshwater snails has morphological, physiological and behavioral traits that provide them a remarkable successful specially the invader species. Here we give an overview of their interesting reproductive biology.
