Resumen:
In the Latin American development field, there is a wide range of insufficiently known or not properly valued development interventions or as sistematización prefers, development experiences. These are not just facts, specific events or data, but vital processes that combine a set of objective and subjective dimensions of the socio-historical reality: contextual conditions, particular situations, actors´ actions, perceptions and interpretations, results and effects, and the interrelation of all these factors. This article focusess on the sistematización approach, a method that attempts to identify lessons from the experience by describing, organising and analysing a development activity?s theory of change and the project approach, the institutional, social and historical context, the relationship between local and external actors, and describing the organizational process, including obstacles and facilitators as well as results and impacts of the experience.
