Resumen:
We describe a method to determine theenergy scale of the fluorescence detection of airshowersbased on the universal shape of longitudinalshower profiles. For this purpose, the ratio of scatteredCherenkov and fluorescence light is adopted asa free parameter while fitting the individual profilesof the longitudinal deposit of the energy to the universalshape. We demonstrate the validity of the methodusing a Monte Carlo study based on the detectorsimulation of the Pierre Auger Observatory andestimate systematic uncertainties due to the choiceof high energy interaction model and atmosphericconditions.
