Resumen:
Surface and bulk plasmons excited by an ion impinging on a solid surface with different angles anddirections are analyzed in the framework of a semiclassical dielectric formulation. Different contributions to theinduced potential and energy loss in the vicinity of the surface are studied in order to elucidate some novelstructures found for both perpendicular and oblique trajectories.
