Resumen:
A droop control strategy is proposed using a virtual impedance loop to achieve a predominantly inductive output impedance at the fundamental frequency. The reduced computational cost at implementing the strategy is achieved by using a simple integral controller in the voltage control loop. Additionally, it is proposed to analyze the gain limits of this controller from the study of the system´s robustness from varying the inductance of the LC filter. In addition, an analysis of the problem seen by the use of a low frequency inductive characteristic in the output impedance is presented, which produces a DC component in the inductor current of the LC filter, with possible core saturation. Therefore, it is proposed to eliminate this problem by modifying the characteristic of the output impedance at low frequency. Simulation results validate this proposal.
