Resumen:
A study of the behavior and performance of electrical and electrochemical Li-ion cells is presented in this work. The results obtained for different commercial models, both prismatic and cylindrical, are shown in a comparative way. The main objective was to contribute to the elucidation of the processes that characterize the charging and discharging, oriented to the application to satellites. The studies were carried out using electrical techniques, both stationary (cyclical charge-discharge) and of modulation (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy, EIS). This work shows that the total charge incorporated does not vary with the temperature of charge. The differential capacitance is an important parameter that should be known and is characteristic of this technology. An equivalent circuit was also developed which resulted to be much better than the existing ones for the interpretation of impedance diagrams of the cell.
