Resumen:
The goal of this presentation is to give an overview of the province museums with natural history collections that were formed in Argentine in the early 20th century, and to analyze the exchange networks between public museums and school. I will try to show how these provincial museums played a role of intermediaries in the circulation of objects and in the local popularization of practices of collecting.
