Resumen:
The results obtained in this work expand our knowledge on the mechanism of action of PTH in duodenal cells, revealing that protein tyrosine phosphorylation is linked to PTH regulation of enterocyte ERK activation and that this mechanism is impaired with ageing. Understanding the molecular mechanism for age-related differences in PTH signalling will require more information about the subtle mechanism that modulate PTH receptor- ERK signalling pathway.
