Resumen:
There are many technologically relevant processes in which
particles driven by diffusion in a solution are aggregated to a
substrate upon contact with it. We model the process and
discuss different topics such as roughening development and
aggregation rates with special consideration of the limiting
processes: diffusion-controlled, aggregation-controlled and
zero field. Scaling properties are investigated by means of
extensive numerical simulations, and analytical expectations
for aggregation rates are obtained by solving a related
Smoluchowsky equation. Finally, the links of some of our results
to previous models/experiments are discussed.
