Resumen:
The description is based on a female specimen from Argentina (Mendoza prov.) and the morphology is compared with the other Ischnura larvae known from Argentina, viz. I. capreola (Hag.) and I. fluviatilis Sel. In addition, I. ultima is reported here for the first time from Chile.
