Review of the Patagonian scallop Biology and Ecology: Past, Present and Perspectivas.

This presentation summarizes the most important contributions and contributors to the Patagonian scallop Research related to the biology and the ecology of the species, since it was baptized as Pecten patagonicus by Phillip King and William Broderip in an article that appeared in 1832. This review was done considering information comprised in more than 6 papers + congress presentations + reports donde in the past 15 years by more than 15 scientists + technicians + vessel crew´s.
