In this work we propose a path-following method for tracking entire solid-fluidequilibrium (SFE) curves for binary asymmetric mixtures. The types of curveswe consider are isopleths, isotherms and isobars. The generation of isoplethsfor the chosen model, makes possible to directly compare models for SFE withraw experimental data, which, for asymmetric systems, are typically obtainedat constant composition. Our case study in this work is the highly asymmetricsystem methane-n-triacontane, for which experimental data are available overa wide range of conditions [1]. Besides a technique for generating entire SFElines, we discuss here a strategy for avoiding the simultaneous correlation offluid-fluid and solid-fluid experimental data.
