The fluid-structure interaction phenomenon is present in several engineering applications(Sandberg 1998). In particular, the dam-reservoir vibration problem has received especial attention due to its importance in seismic design. The present paper deals with the two-dimensional vibration analysis of a reservoir-gravity dam system by means of FlexPDE (2000).
