Resumen:
In this article a forced vibration analysis of thin walled beams made of composites with open and closed section is presented. The mathematical model includes, in a full form, the shear flexibility due to flexure and warping. Use is made of a non-locking finite element in order to study the influence of the aforementioned shear flexibilty on the forced dynamics of such members. Parametrical studies and numerical comparisons are provided as well.
