Resumen:
CoDNaS is a database of proteins conformers [http://www.codnas.com.ar]. Study of conformers is a key issue in protein structural biology because they describe the native state of a protein. Their study has been associated with several and important subjects in biology such as origin of new functions, enzyme catalysis, origin of molecular diseases, evolutionary rate, promiscuity, protein 3D modeling,protein-protein interaction analysis, order-disorder transitions, just to mention a few examples. We think that CoDNaS is a very useful tool for study the biological aspects that causes the conformational diversity in proteins.
