Resumen:
The aim of the present work is to analyze the effect in the NE-LIBS intensity of calcium (Ca) signal produced by the addition of ZnO nanoparticles (NPs). These NPs were added to samples consisting of a zinc matrix containing four different Ca concentrations. Calcium was selected as analyte because it is one of the main components of soils and its concentration is relevant in determining the cohesibility and fertility of soils. A comparison was performed between samples without NPs and two samples containing NPs in the bulk and in the surface of the pellet, respectively. The samples were prepared so that the amount of added NPs remained constant, increasing the amount of Ca present.
