LALINET lidar stations were used to track down aerosols generated over Amazon region andtransported over the continent. These data were merged with collocated Aeronet stations in orderto help in their identification together with HYSPLIT simulations. The results show indication ofhow aerosol can age in their long transport over regions South and Westward from the source areasby change of their optical properties.
