Resumen:
The use of block copolymers has attracted a lot of research interest due to their capacity for self-assembly into different domains. They make it possible to obtain complex structures in the nano range with an easily tuneable size, shape and spacing. This makes them ideal as templates for the production of inorganic films of functional materials with diverse and rich morphologies. We studied TiO2 (Ti) because of its dielectric, optical, and catalytic properties, SrTiO3 (ST) because it represents a prototype for microwave applications due to its high dielectric constant and modest dielectric losses, Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3 (PMN-PT) because it is being used in micro- and nano-electro-mechanical devices due to its excellent piezoelectric properties, Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 (NBT) since it is one of the most promising alternatives for lead-free piezoelectrics, and CoFe2O4 because its moderate saturation magnetization and magnetic anisotropy make it suitable for memory or sensor applications. We focus this study on the morphology of the films, as it is an important factor to consider, since it determines the volume-to-surface ratio, the density of surface-active sites, the catalytic activity, the elastic response, etc.
