Resumen:
NO2 total vertical concentration measurements over the Marambio Argentinean Antarctica station (64°14? S; 56°37? W, 197 m asl) are reported. The NO2 vertical column density (VCD) was derived by Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) analysis of twilight solar spectra acquired with a commercial mini-spectrometer (HR4000, Ocean Optics) during January-February 2008. Collocated measurements obtained with the EVA instrument developed by Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial (INTA) from Spain, are compared with our retrievals. A comparative study among these ground-based measurements and the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI, AURA satellite) retrievals is also presented
