Resumen:
The Nahuelbuta batholith is a part of the Chilean Coastal Batholith that intruded the Metamorphic Complex of the Eastern Series during the Permo-Carboniferous. In this work, the structures of the batholith and the host rock are studied in order to understand the emplacement mechanism and deformation history of the igneous rocks. Structural and petrographic analysis are applied together  with the methods of anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) and anisotropy of anhysteretic remanent magnetization (AARM)  with the aim to characterize the fabrics of the igneous rocks.
