Resumen:
Quantum yield of sensitized photocurrent generation in nanocristalline SnO2 thin films with metalloporphyrins showed to be highly dependent on the identity of the central metal. Free base (P); Zn(II) (PZn); Cu(II) (PCu); Pd(II) (PPd), and Ni(II) (PNi) 5-(4-carboxyphenyl)-10,15,20-tris(4-methylphenyl) were synthesized and employed as spectral sensitizers in photoelectrochemica cells.
