A convenient procedure for the synthesis of diporphyrin dyad is described. The electron donor-acceptor property of both moieties was increased by –OCH3 y –NO2, respectively. Preliminary studies on SnO2 electrodes showed that this dyad might be suitable for solar energy conversion devises.
