Resumen:
Naphthoquinones are widespread in nature and play important physiological roles in animals and plants. Secondary metabolites bearing in their structure the 1,4 and 1,2-naphthoquinone moieties have been isolated and exhibit interesting biological activities. Structures related to lapachol are known for their various biological activities incluiding cytotoxicity to tumor cells. In the present study, we evaluated the in vitro antiproliferative activity of new lapachol derivatives, included 1,2 and 1,4-naphthoquinones.
