On the design of PNIPAm nanogels for biological applications. Synthesis, characterization and cellular assays.

Thermoresponsive nanogels based on PNIPAm weresuccessfully obtained by copolymerization usingprecipitation. The material was fully characterized bymicroscopic, spectroscopic and light dispersiontechniques. The Tp of the nanogels was estimated in31 °C and the diameter of spheres was 360 nm. Thebiological assay results studies are important forpotential applications. Results are promising forpotential biological applications such as drug deliveryand gene transfection
