Resumen:
Asphalt is one of the most widely thermo-viscoelastic materials used for the construction of highways and routes. However, in the last years have been noteworthy the greater demands that the pavements due to the greater loads and quantity of vehicles that transit them, which has prompted researchers to search for new materials. Actually, it is known that important properties such as thermal susceptibility, aging at environment and resistance to rutting and fatigue can be improved through the incorporation of polymers1. In this work we synthesized a new poly (dioctyl fumarate-co-vinyl benzoate), PFV in order to studied the properties of the mixture with a base asphalt (BA) after incorporating the copolymer.
