Resumen:
The molecular characteristics of homo- and copolymers, such as, chemical composition, stereochemical, molecular weight and molecular weight distribution are directly related with its properties which in turn, are a reflection of the kinetic history of the reaction occurred during its formation. For this reason, when designing new polymeric materials, the analysis of thermal behavior (glass transition temperature (Tg) and degraded temperature) is a very important study related with their macromolecular characteristic and their future applications1. This work presents the results of differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) for different composition of poly(diisopropil fumarate -co- p-nitrobenzyl acrylate) (DIPF-co-NBA). In addition a study of thermal degradation products allowed us propose a degradation mechanism.
