Resumen:
In this talk I will speak of youngster politicalgroups, who constituted a sort of self-selected white guard, involved in whatthey considered to be a battle against social, cultural degeneration impulse bya a many-headed conspiracy beast composed by Liberals, Communist, Masons,Peronists and Hippies.   Nonetheless, insufficient attention hasbeen paid/given to the weight of another youth group, one strongly engaged withmore conservative values. Youngstersinvolved in political organisations such as MovimientoNacionalista Tacuara (GOEBEL2007; GALVÁN2008) developed a counter-revolutionary social and political agenda, which included the production and spread of intense Anti-communist propaganda, insome cases overlapping Anti-Peronist mottos. These young men did not identifythemselves with the pursuit of the ElNuevo Hombre proposed by Ernesto Guevara: in opposition to this, they were hard-line social order crusaders, anxious forthe restoration of threatened catholic Hispanic and authoritarian values, traditions and hierarchies. In this talk I will speak, then, of these youngsterpolitical groups, who constituted a sort of self-selected white guard, involvedin what they considered to be a battle against social, cultural degenerationimpulse by a a many-headed conspiracy beast composed by Liberals, Communist,Masons, Peronists and Hippies
