Resumen:
In recent years, some papers have suggested the idea of promoting contract farming as a way to cushion the effects of dispossession derived from land grabbing. In this sense, the objective of this document is to analyze the characteristics and effects of contract farming in five selected crops in Argentina. This analysis will be carried out based on the following dimensions: the actors, the characteristics of the contract, the impacts on the contracting parties, the role of the State and the conflicts that arise in the transaction.
