Resumen:
A MAS-PCR system was performed to detect the main mutations conferring resistant to isoniazid (INH) and rifampicin (RIF). The involved genes in this system were katG (315), inhA promoter (-15) and the rpoB (516, 526 and 531). PCR products were detected using an agarose gel. The study was carried out in 193 M. tuberculosis clinical isolates, 47 fully-drug susceptible, 66 mono-resistant to INH, 11 resistant to RIF and 69 MDR. Overall sensitivity and specificity of MAS-PCR system were 80.0% and 100.0%, respectively. The global concordance between MAS-PCR and sequencing was 98.0%.
