Resumen:
The most recent wave of infections has been closelyrelated to the emergence of the Delta variant ofSARS-CoV-2. Like other RNA viruses, this virusconstantly mutates with new variants emerging aslong as ongoing transmission persists [5]. A variantcan become more common if it provides a selectiveadvantage to the virus.
