Resumen:
Determination of the antibiotic resistance profiles plays an important role in the microbial characterization and may be neccesary to study the expression a certain strain and may be neccesary to study the expression of  interest genes, for instance, the genetic mechanisms involved in actinomycetes copper resistance. In this work, we characterize the resistance to antibiotics and copper of actinomycetes strains isolated from copper polluted areas to obtain information that help us to design experiences to study the molecular mechanisms of actinomycetes copper resistance. We worked with 4 actinomycetes strains isolated from two copper mining areas: ABO (Argentina) and QLN° 1-3, QLN° 1-4 and QLN° 1-8 (Germany).. Strains ABO and QLN° 1-3 were the most copper resistance strains. In the antibiotic test, we determined that strain ABO is the one that offered the best resistance to all tried antibiotics. We conclud that copper resistance mechanisms are widely distributed between actinomycetes which live in contaminated environments of distant geographic places. The determination of the antibiotic resistance  allowed us to make a partial characterization of the strains and to design experiences at molecular level in actinomycetes strains.
