Resumen:
The efforts of the scientific community to tackle the problem around CO2 emissions are intense and diverse. The combination of CO2 capture and use could become a very valuable tool if it can be carried out in the same industrial plant. In this work, it is shown that the process of CO2 capture and utilization can be practically implemented in a cyclical way using a lithium silicate (Li/Si=4,1-HW) as a sorbent for CO2 capture at high temperature and a nanoparticle Ni (5%) supported on silica mesocellular foam catalyst for CO2 methanation. Three different configurations were employed for the disposition of the materials. The experiments were quantified by FID detector chromatography and mass spectrometry.
