This event was held at the Conferences Room of the Electrotechnical Department, Faculty of Engineering, National University of La Plata, 48 esq. 116, 1º floor (1900), La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The development of this first meeting had as purpose to contribute to knowledge of semiconductor devices modeling and electronic materials, in order to discuss the most widely used computational methods to study the materials and their application to electron devices. The event, organized in a single-session format, was carried out with the contribution of invited lecturers and poster presentations. The meeting was addressed to researchers in the areas of semiconductor devices modeling and new materials. Also, professionals related to the electronic industry and PhD and advanced students of the careers of Electronic Engineering and Physics.
