Some questions about artistic activism in Argentina

I will focus on artistic activism during the last decade in Argentina, particularly in 2001, an emblematic landmark (in and out of Argentina), because of the bank crisis, the collapse of the neoliberal policy, the goverment fall and specially the new forms of popular uprising. I’d like to talk about the recent history and the actual situation of certain practices that I propose to name “artistic activism”, recovering the old self-definition of German dadaism. I gather under this definition, mostly collective, productions and actions that tap artistic resources with the goal of taking a stance in the public sphere.
