Resumen:
Knotted reactors (KR) have lately been successfully employed as preconcentration media inatomic absorption spectrometry with electrothermal atomization (ET AAS). Their use in on-lineautomatic systems with determinations by atomic emission spectrometry associated to inductivelycoupled plasma (KR-FIA-ICP-AES), developed in the present work, constitutes a novel and efficient method of preconcentration and determination of analyte traces in different samples, opening an interesting application field in analytic chemistry. An on:-line system was designed an studied which permits the collection and preconcentration of analytes by precipitation or coprecipitation, subsequent dissolution and determination by ICP-AES. The analytes determined by this method were Pb in drinking water, well water and wine: Zn in river water and V in drinking water and beer.
