Resumen:
We report a fragmentary tooth of a member of the Tardigrada (Family incertae sedis) confirming the presence of this group in the Eocene of Antarctica.
The tooth was recovered during the 1993-94 austral summer by lJ. Moly of the Museo de La Plata, from the surface of the first Cucullaea shell bed of the La Meseta Formation (TELM 4) at Museo de La Plata locality DPV 2/84(64°13'51"S, 56°39'21"W, 27 m above sea level).
