Resumen:
The aim of this presentation is to give an up to date review on the reproductive brain in fish with special emphasis in GnRH, kisspetins and the interaction among these systems and their relation with reproduction.
The following topics will be reviewed: GnRH variants in teleosts, the role of GnRH on gonadotropin secretion and reproduction in fish, kisspeptin and reproduction in mammals, kisspentin in teleost fish, two kisspeptin systems in fish and the relationship of these systems in teleosts.
